[1993] The Auteurs - New Wave (FLAC)

One of the essential britpop albums but at the same time so much more than that since it brought to attention a huge talent - Luke Haines.
Luke Haines seamlessly mixes beatlesque harmonies and Bowie's glam noir, all shrouded in some of the sharpest lyrics you'll ever hear, allowing him to create his own (very) dark universe of disilusion, thinly veiled self loathing and Bellerophon worthy hubris.
You could take this for the harmonies and it would be splendid, but you could take this solely for the lyrics and it would be captivating as well - both elements sewn together it makes for a seriously impactant album.

Genre: Alternative rock, indie pop

[1995] Yu Yu Hakusho OP/ED Collection (FLAC)

Part of the so-so Memorial 6-CD Box released in 1995. This is the 4th CD and it includes the OPs and EDs found in the TV series, plus OAV-exclusive songs. The quality is a bit better than the separate singles and they're all conveniently packed in a single, slick CD.
The loseless files were found on the internet (not my rip) and the images were taken from here. Still the sound is 100% legit, so enjoy if this is your cup of tea (I know it is).

Genre: Anime Soundtrack
